FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • If I lost an item or left it in a guest room, where I can go or who can I call to find ?

The House keeping Department has the main lost and found responsibility at Toshali Sands. If housekeeping finds something in your room, they will store with the maintained Log Book in the next business day. Please make sure to give us 24 hours to locate a missing or lost item.


  • Where can I park without using Valet ?

Please make sure that you get a ample parking area near to main security gate. Then you are welcome to self-park your car, follow the signs. Please do not park your car on the road leading to the reception from main gate.


  • Do you have housekeeping services at Toshali Sands ?

Our housekeeping staff will come into you room on a daily basis to do trash and towel service. This includes removing all trash from your room, removing and replacing all towels, and making your bed. You will also receive cleaning service during your stay. This service will include the trash and towel service, as will as changing all sheets, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming the entire unit, dusting. These services will occur between 8am and 5:00pm. Please contact the House Keeping Front Desk for any extra housekeeping supplies. The House keeping department to provides cribs, highchairs, shower chairs, and rollaway beds to those guests needing them based on availability. Please contact housekeeping at 77.Extrabed is provided with extra cost.


  • Are pets allowed at Toshali Sands ?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Toshali Sands.


  • Does my room have a kitchenette in it ?

Toshali sands double rooms, studio, one bedroom and two bed rooms have partial kitchenette refrigerator , microwave on request, coffee maker, stove, toaster, cookware, dish ware for 4, and other small appliances.


  • I would like to have Toshali Sands hold an expensive (ie: laptop computer, camera, jewelry, etc.) item for me during my stay. How do I arrange that ?

We provide an individual locker safe. Unfortunately, we are not set up to hold valuable items and by law we would have to sign a document acknowledging that we would do so.


  • Does Toshali Sands have a grocery store on property ?

Mini Mart is similar to a mini grocery / convenience store. It is located near the public area just off of the lobby. The store hours are 8:00am 08:00pm. They offer many varieties of snacks and last minute food items that you may have forgotten. Resort prohibits to buy from out side hawkers because of. Rude local language and poor quality of materials.


  • Do you have laundry facilities at Toshali Sands ?
Yes, you can contact House Krrping for your washing and pressing


  • Do you have a Fitness Center ?

Toshali Sands has a fitness center, common use for mens and womens steam rooms, and massage therapists. The fitness center features equipment from Lifecycle, and Body Masters, . The fitness center hours are 24 hours from 7am 8pm. The fitness center is also opened on holidays .


  • Do you provide shuttle service to and from Puri Town and Exclusive beach ?
Yes, you can request to the Front Office for all such services.


  • Does Toshali Sands have Internet service ?
At present this service is available in near to the lobby.


  • Where is Toshali Sands located?

Toshali Sands located on Puri Konark Marine Drive at distance of 6 KMs from Puri Railway Station and City center.


  • Can we rent wheelchairs, cars, or limousines ?
Please call or stop by the Bell Desk and they can assist you with any of your rental needs. Wheel chair is available at free of cost.


  • Do you have activities and discounts for Toshali Guests ?

Our concierge would be happy to book for activities and make reservations for you in advance. They are able to provide at a discounts on various attractions in town and make. They would be more than happy to give you advise on dining, excursions, and anything else that you are looking for. The Concierge also provides names through the house keeping babysitting services. Please contact House Keeping ( 77) for such services.

  • We are arriving early and want to know if there is any place we may store our luggage until our unit is ready ?
When you arrive please go to the Bell Desk. A bell person will be more than happy to store you luggage in our secured storage room.


  • What time is check in and check out ?

Standard Check in time is 10:00am and standard check out time is 08:00am. If you arrive earlier than 4:00 hours, please inquire at the Front Desk about early check in availability. If you need to check out later than 08:00am, please inquire at the Front Desk about late check out availability.


  • Do you have a pool? Is it indoor or outdoor? What are the hours ?

Toshali Sands has outdoor pool area. It is open from 7am - 08pm and is closed seasonally based on the weather conditions. The pool deck area features cabanas, one BBQ grills and sinks, restrooms, lounge chairs, and much more. Towels are available at poolside.


  • What kinds of transportation is available from Toshali Sands ?

Our 24 hour Bell Desk staff is here is assist you with any transportation needs. The resort has a Travel Desk also opened from 8am to 8pm all days. They work with quality car companies or rental cars. . Please contact concierge desk for a current schedule. They are able to call a taxi for you and set up the service for you to the airport, city sight seeing, transfer to Railway stations of Puri and Bhubaneswar and other tourist attractions and for your trip home.


  • Does Toshali Sands have Room Service ?
Yes, Toshali Sands, does have room service available, We do also provide a menu in your room for Order.

  • How much does Toshali Sands charge for phone calls ?

All local calls are @ Rs 5.00 per. All long distance call rates vary upon where you are calling and the time of day you are calling.


  • Is there a Security Deposit that is required of you and check in ?

All members must put down a Rs 2500 security deposit via credit card per room upon check in. This covers any incidentals to the room.


  • Do you have board games available ?

The Front Desk stocks many board games for all to enjoy. At the same time there is an entertainment Dept. There is no charge to check out these games. Please ask at the front desk for types of games and availability. (Note: games are available on a first come, first served basis.)


  • Is there a safe deposit available on property ?
There is provision for safe deposit at the resort.


  • Is smoking allowed at Toshali Sands ?

All rooms, cottages, villas are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed on certain specific areas of the resort.
